Halloween prep: Hornet’s needle 2.0! My previous version (in pfp) was a very last minute carved foam & pvc pipe construction, which I covered with aluminum foil. The 3D printed version will hopefully be far more elegant.

It’s hard and I never know if it’s going to look good when I try painting in another element, but it keeps getting better the more I work on it and it’s so much fun. 😸

Finally making some more good progress on this painting (which is the largest one I’ve ever done, on 24”x20” canvas). Never let anyone tell you there’s no value in the process of art! This is so much more satisfying than typing into a prompt interpreter.

This Halloween I really want to see folks dressing up their babies like Sherma, that would be so adorable.

I have the cilantro hate gene but I love cilantro! Sometimes that makes me wonder if it means I subconsciously want to eat soap?

Cilantro IS awesome, but I'm aware some people have an unfortunate genetic tic that makes it taste like soap. If I were preparing something for such a person, I would probably use parsley where I use cilantro, or just put the cilantro into a side dish for people to add as they will.

This was always the funniest conspiracy theory to me — that there are MRI machine-like devices that can cure all known illnesses in seconds, but the government has been hiding them — and Trump just posted an AI generated video of himself announcing they're real. We're cooked!
