2004.

How prescient. It was relevant then and it is relevant now. The world is so much poorer for his loss.

Can you please let us know when NSW Police will be releasing footage from their body cams to back-up claims that the peaceful protestors to Herzog's visit to Australia were violent towards Police, @chrisminnsmp.bsky.social.

Important the public sees evidence, I'm sure you would agree. #auspol

the police presence at Town Hall is unfuckingbelievable. They are deep inside the station, stopping and searching people at the top of the stairs from the platform. Absolutely off the charts I have never seen anything like it and I have protested for over 40 years.

These cops just flat-out assaulted an elderly man.

Plain as day that the cops are the only ones interested in violence.

Do you support their actions today? Punching a man with both hands up? Harming men peacefully praying? Or how about a large number of police charging at protesters and corralling protesters with no where to get to safety?
Do you support that Chris?
Our police officers are the backbone of our community, trusted in the toughest times, and our Government fully supports them.

The NSW cops are being so overtly aggressive it would almost seem like they were under orders to make sure the protest became violent.
