Portland woman testifies that police lied about ICE activity in Oregon when 12 to 15 agents surrounded her vehicle, and she called 911 for help on December 10th. "I have a question for the police. If you refuse to do your job, are you prepared for us to do it for you?"

The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.

Honesty mattered 20 years ago, hard work, relationships trust same thing.

People shun me at parties when I say things have not changed.

But then: "what happens when consistency is in short supply" rise of conservatism.

And when people think everything is changing?

Constency is hard to find!

Great job on 15, just installed, noticably smoother than what I had before (FreeBSD 13 I think) @freebsdfoundation.bsky.social. Very happy I saw the announcement!

Let's work on bringing back functional software that solves boring problems.

I see improvement opportunites here:

- media that does not scroll
- out of order undo/redo
- websites that recieve email
- crypto signatures for business

Clever took the last decade, let productivity take this one!

Fair warning: I'll be posting mostly about software from this account going forward.

My content has been (mostly) political so far.

If that's why you followed me, I won't be offended if you see tech jargon and unfollow.

Pass the torch!

Lets all thank MTG and encourage other republicans and corporate dems to resign.

While we are at it, the acusations towards younger generations are usually just the unaccountability of older generations.

Finger pointers are usually people who won't admit fault, or move along.

Whereas 285 members of congress, and too uneducated to realize that Subsidies, Social Security, Snap, and Medicare form the socialist government we already have!

Dishonestly should be purgery in elected office. This whole bill is divorced from reality.

Let us be incredibly, abundantly clear:

We are demanding that Chuck Schumer resign for his continued betrayal of the American people.

If he does not willingly step aside, we are calling on the Senators in the Dem caucus to remove him and Dick Durbin from Senate leadership.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

This is the kind of vacation that used to only happen in Europe.
Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 94th day out of the last 106.

12 days of work in 106 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

Hi @edzitron.com, I have an answer from your questiom during the "Dealing with History" question.

You asked people to reach out to you if they knew what "it was all for".

Reach back if you want to know what I've discovered.

I think I have an explanation you'll want to hear.

It's posts on X like this that clarify how often people misunderstand the concept of a marketplace economy.

People can only "work" when there is work available.

That has a hiring pipeline, that won't cut hours whenever they want, that has training.

It's sad to how fictional this perspective is.
May I present a former clerk to Justice Gorsuch.
