I saw someone dismissed the Avatar nomination for Costume Design for having “CGI costumes”. Oscar-winning costume designer Deborah Lynn Scott worked her ass off practically designing the traditional dress of the Na’Vi and then handing it over to Weta. They didn’t design it in the computer!

Massively recommend this to anyone with ears. Even a singular ear, or ear-like capabilities.
Fell off this horse of late with new releases and other distractions, but the new Amaro Frietas has put me back on. He claimed my 2024 AOTY number 3 spot with Y'Y. This was my most played album of the year, I think, and it is a truly magical experience.
