I 100% have double standards in animation. When a mainstream series that's been focus-grouped to shit belabours a joke it's whatever, but when an indie show with very limited screen time burns two solid minutes doing a desperately unfunny bit the creator clearly thinks is hilarious, please, go on.

this is maybe one of the most insidious modes of AI use and apologia, because whether you comprehend it or not, you are driving your work toward genericism, to become a complete parody of itself. if an LLM is helping you explore ideas, it's just feeding the genre back to you.
