Yeah, I worked in customer support and, if it's a 'peak' of one day, they will not care. They'll wipe their hands and say "ok, volumes are back to normal, it's fixed"
If after a week they are still receiving pressure... Then they'll begin to get nervous
we are going to need to keep up this 'yelling at payment processors' energy for more than just today

Ideally, we will need to keep up this pressure over a span of a few weeks

As many people as possible, each making 2-4 calls a day, for a few weeks, is going to make the biggest impact

Maybe we could find out.

Mastercard (US): 1-800-627-8372
Mastercard (Int.): +1-636-722-7111
Visa (US + Can): 1 800 847 2911
Visa (AUS): 1 800 125 440
PayPal: +44-0203-901-7000
Collective Shout, the group that took credit for bullying Mastercard into recently censoring more platforms, stated that apparently it took them ~1000 phonecalls to convince them to give them what they wanted?

We got like way more people than that don't we?
ok then. one angle of attack then needs to be actively bombarding Visa and Mastercard's phone numbers and emails.

are customer support phone numbers/emails the best avenue to start with or is there a better option?

Oh yeah, it goes without saying; I'm not even American and thisis affecting me.

I feel like even if you are not American, you should call in and voice your concerns to those card companies. If this is a issue that affects everyone internationally, they need to get international complaints!

Payment processors harassed companies bc of a 1,000 email hate campaign

But we can EASILY top 1,000!

I prewrote an email + got the contact info - you just have to send!

Some of the members of this group were also responsible for the porn ban on Gumroad and the increasing content restrictions on Patreon, and they've already named itchio as another target.
So we know who to blame for getting payment processing companies to go after furries and kicking them from only fans, fansly, and steam.

It is a group called “collective shout”. Furry adult content is being falsely labeled bestiality by payment processing companies. This group got them to do that.

Adding this here so people and easily see this post with it. These are the groups I found that are putting pressure on banks and are actually successful.

bsky.app/profile/bigg...
More groups pressuring banks to close accounts for anything in adult industry or for any sexual expression. They use deceptive names as cover.

The National Center on Sexual Exploitation

Exodus Cry - (they got to Mastercard)

International Centre on Sexual Exploitation

Fight the New Drug (FTND)

I need to be perfectly clear that Bernie Sanders voted for FOSTA/SESTA. We could have literally had a Bernie Sanders presidency with a supermajority and he and his base still would not have actually acknowledged, much less given a shit about, payment processors fumigating public spaces of speech
these people aren't going to rest until queerness (or for that matter anything else deemed "unsafe for kids") is completely expunged from the internet, and virtually all "progressive" political blocs not just in America but in any other country are massively okay with this

Age verification is deanonymization,
Deanonymization is censorship.

The Supreme Court is now taking away your right to anonymously *read* a form of speech. If speaking can mean that your readers have to subject themselves to potential consequences to read it, how can there be freedom of speech?
NEW: In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court held that age verification for explicit sites is constitutional. The majority said it protects minors without violating free speech; dissenters warned it burdens adults’ rights and ignores First Amendment precedent.

In a 6-3 decision gutting 1st amendment freedoms, Clarence Thomas(!!!) upheld the age verification restrictions on porn sites in Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton. He applied a lessened intermediate scrutiny saying the burden on speech is incidental.

KOSA is being reintroduced today.

It's always been a dangerous censorship bill.

But in this environment, with Trump weaponizing every aspect of the Federal government to suppress speech he doesn't like, KOSA is a catastrophic attack on human rights.

We have to stop it.

KOSA will absolutely be used to actively target and discriminate against LGBTQIA+ people; it will be used to frame literally *Existing* as an LGBTQIA+ person as "pornographic;" you can know this because Blackburn has admitted it out loud.

Do not let this fucking bill pass. Call your senators, now.
GOD FUCKING DAMN IT.

KOSA is vile & every single republican openly plans to weaponize it.

blackburn straight up said it exists to “protect minors from the transgender in society” & 22 GOP attorneys general openly said, “yes, i *would* use it to go after abortion info.”

KOSA IS A GIFT TO FASCISTS.
