Starting trying to count car parks with more than 80 spaces here and gave up through sheer volume 🫤
Meanwhile, in South Korea: "Starting at the end of November, public parking lots with more than 80 spaces will be required to install solar power generation facilities. This obligation applies not only to newly constructed parking lots but also to existing ones."

We have these really wide corridors called local streets. Could always rip up half the carriageway and increase planting all while reducing bitumen and not impacting ability to travel through those corridors?

All the more reason to get on your hiking boots, or jump on a bike and take a slower route through some of the amazing Hills around Perth and the South-West. Grab the train to High Wycombe and then the 275 or 276 and hop off for a walk.

It’s instructive that really good priority infrastructure for peds is often seen in private spaces and car parks. They realise the need to provide appropriate priority in those areas to keep people safer. Try do this in a public setting though and expect barrier after barrier and reasons for “no”
