I didn't mention it at the time but a senator came into to the store a few weeks back. I'm positive it was him. He was with his wife. Just the two of them. No security. They just drive themselves to our bougie store to buy a few groceries.

Today's the day, friends. The kiddo's soul will be crushed and I will ugly cry and possibly give myself a migraine. If that doesn't scream Thanksgiving, I don't know what does.
Kiddo wanted to watch FIREFLY for the first time so we've been watching an episode a night. We just finished the last episode on Wednesday. He wants to wait to watch SERENITY until Thanksgiving, and friends, I'm not sure if I'm ready emotionally to go through it again even after all these years.

I wouldn't have seen 3/4 of the concerts I've seen had I not gone by myself.
It was amazing seeing Radiohead, Ride, Oasis, Blur, The Smiths, Happy Mondays, White Stripes, Beastie Boys, Rage Against the Machine, NIN, New Order, Primal Scream, Jesus and Mary Chain, and dozen of others by myself.

At my day job today. Only 6 people here, normally 32, give or take. I am ready to go home. Once I'm out of here, I'll be off until Tuesday. Office is closed Thurs and Fri (Paid both days) and Mon is that free 8 hrs paid off for working Veterans Day. I do have to work 6 hours at HEB on Sun, though.
