In a normal government, this results in the resignation of multiple cabinet officials (Transportation, Defense, and Homeland Security), and the closure or (at least!) radical reorg of the cartoonishly incompetent agency at the center of it: CBP.

I didn't say a third choice would be better than Biden or Obama.

Had nothing to do with best candidates we've had...

My comment was only about having more choices, hoping the best would rise to the top as I beleive Obama and Biden did

I also said nothing about *current* small parties

Constitutional Amendments are difficult.

Wish lists on social media... not so much.

Try organizing for a Constituional Convention.. not joke or snary... it Could be done. Again, very difficult. 🙂

I am neither R nor D, never have been.

I'd love a solid choice between the 2 parties or have viable others,formed-from-grassroots/ not just offering a show! prez every 4yrs]

Now I vote D because governing is Math, not ideology - that means to get anything done Congress needs 51 /218 & +P/VP helps

I’ve watched a lot of congressional hearings over the last 40 years. This performance by Bondi is the single most unprofessional, non-responsive, reprehensible and obnoxious I have ever seen from any witness who has testified before any committee of either chamber.

Bondi has spent this entire hearing crashing out, talking about the stock market, and trying to do anything but talk about Epstein.

The American people see through this bullshit.

Innocent people don’t act this way.

I get this all the time when I quote ICE data.

Like look, I’ll tell you when I think the data isn’t trustworthy, but the idea that *every* data point is a lie is just conspiracist.
Bluesky in a nutshell.

Some context: BLS released its jobs numbers today, which were better than expected, and resistance libs would rather stay mad/conspiratorial than listen to actual on-the-ground experts that the data is still reliable.

kind of funny that an olympian said they are here to represent "compassion, respect, and love for others" and some people automatically knew that was a statement against them

We kissed the American middle class goodbye when we believed the lie that we’re ALL better off when the RICH get richer and the POOR get poorer.

What if more companies and corporations (including newspapers), were cooperatively owned by the employees…

Why aren’t more people warning about the GOP’s SAVE Act, including its requirement that states launch new voter purge programs??? History shows that Rs “love* over-broad purges. Tellingly, SAVE proposes *no penalty* for faulty purges but potential *prison time* 4 a single faulty voter registration.
