Played the new Blue Protocol Star Resonance game with my friend tonight, we mostly did separate story/farming stuff until we found out how to be on the same server but it's fun. I very rarely play MMORPGs so the chat and player interactions and free roam to jump around on rooftops is novel for me

people always be like "oh i like kanto but gen 1 is so olddd and jankyyy i could never play them nowadays i'll just play FRLG"

the core problem is approaching gen 1 like an established pokemon game rather than as the weird old game boy RPG it is. throw water gun on that rattata you caught it's okay

what the fuck do you MEAN you can evolve eevee into jolteon in gen 1 by getting into a trainer battle, levelling eevee up, switching to growlithe, and finishing the battle with growlithe, because growlithe's pokemon index is the same as thunder stone's item index. WHAT. WHATTT
