(i couldn't find a good example of Gatekeeper's best dialogue because it's all long convos but people love this guy) it's just the merchant from RE4. no dialogue needed because we all know it by heart and we all love him

quick messy sketches of marth from fire emblem, and kirby and rocky from the kirby series. in the background, there is a sequence of drawings where rocky is leaping forwards into the air, before he transforms into a statue and it falls onto the ground with a heavy impact. once he completes his transformation, the statue he became is a statue of marth doing the pose that he does in the fe1 box art where he has a foot on a stone with higher elevation, and both of his hands are on top of the hilt of his legendary sword falchion (which is also on the same elevation as his foot) in the foreground, the real marth looks shocked upon seeing the statue that rocky transformed into. he says whilst being confused, "Is that... ME???" additionally, you can see kirby just sitting there on marth's shoulder

Non-important NPC dialogue is a great place to hide some additional story bits, world lore, or just fun character stuff in general. And it's honestly one of the most fun aspects of game development.
I'm not really sure why would you like to skip all that...
