metroidhead oomf played it for a little bit and was complaining abt the desert and it was everything i love about oot/tp hyrule field. the mood reset between dungeon arcs in those games is so effective tbh
as someone who has never played a metroid game before and grew up on classic 3d zelda. hearing that metroid prime 4's design philosophy is really close to classic 3d zelda compared to previous metroid prime games has made me infinitely more interested in trying it

what's annoying about my job is that whenever im having a really busy/rough day my bosses think they can just buy my happiness with sweets. and the most annoying part is that it works flawlessly. like yeah im happy now because you gave me some chocolate!! begrudgingly!!! im 12 years old i guess!!!!!

ive been playing the totk s2 edition here and there and it's funny seeing some of the memories after age of imprisonment because they often look way worse in aoi for some reason. probably just because it's not zelda team cinematography. narratives be damned they know how to structure a cutscene
