I'd totally use Signal if any of the people I talk to used Signal, but just about no one does.

If it weren't for Summer Lee, I don't know what I'd do. At least one of my congressional representatives is actually representing me.

After the Boston Massacre, the soldiers responsible were arrested and received fair trials. King George recalled the regiment to England, and then American leaders were like “good, that was enough, we’ll remain your loyal subjects forever…” wait, that’s not right…

It occurs to me that what they accused Alex Pretti of doing is exactly the thing that Kyle Rittenhouse did, which was found not to be a crime even after he killed a guy. Even the lies don't justify this.

Everyone who had anything to do with this needs to be prosecuted. Start by arresting the goons who did it. Then go up the chain of command and arrest everyone who's trying to cover it up. Then impeach Noem. Then impeach Trump. Don't stop until the whole lot of them are in jail.

The disease we have in this country right now is that we believe our sense of purpose is to make money.

No. You make money as a reward for doing something with purpose. Like running a hotel, or running a restaurant, or selling products.

You forget what you're in the business to do and you'll fail.

I think the reason JD Vance is such a vile human being is because he's stereotypical white trash from a long line of stereotypical white trash, and this is how he copes with the shame.

LLMs are for people who can't already bang out a prototype and 9-page design doc in less than a day.

Fun fact: AGH is where I went when I was dying with an embolism 7 years ago. As I remember it, the real ER there is darker at night.

According to Kristi Noem, failure to comply with the orders of a federal agent is an act of domestic terrorism and warrants immediate summary execution.

This is unquestionably the policy of a police state.

Now I can finally talk about what I do at work. Latitude's building hands-free (L2) and eyes-off (L3) self driving systems for Ford's Universal Electric Vehicle (UEV) program. The first vehicle, an affordable mid-size electric pickup truck, was previously announced in September.
