"Olive Drab." Some guy yelled at me on the street as I was walking home. He followed me around the block. He kept yelling something about the time. I saw a hit and run a month ago in the same place. It was a cyclist. I was the only one who saw him die. I sat next to him and told him it was gonna be okay but he was spilling open. My school was bombed when I lived in Fairbanks. Only one kid died. They thought it was the water heater breaking but the banging kept going and going and it was coming from everywhere. The teachers didn't know what to do. They just made us close our eyes and cover our ears and we weren't allowed to move until they took the body away and cleaned everything up down there. I guess it didn't make the news because we had our own stations and the people in charge didn't want to look bad.
