the introduction of this kind of permanent blacklist as the Easy Button is itself a terrible precedent! when new political pressures arise over additional categories of content, you've already established a maximalist way to navigate them without increasing headcount. it's dystopian.

pretty gnarly in its original incarnation but they subsequently changed it, the public isn't getting this original version on any storefront. in most any other situation if a distributor balks at some particular scene in a horror story and the scene gets axed to accommodate them, that's enough.
I feel horrible about this situation, but I think they're being a little bit dense when they describe the scene that got them banned as non-sexual. I don't like to poke holes in something like this but if we're gonna stop this nonsense we have to talk about it
