Finally gotten a breather after a long time! So, a run down of what's been happening: NDA stuff, Perception Check (loot that bodeh!), and a short trip to Taiwan last week for a capoeira event. As the cosy season is upon us, I wanted to take some time to revisit classic fantasy maps from my archives. 📚

Let's start with one of my very fist attempts at map making with the Divided Land.

In Urus, a clever, mischievous demon child born from a pail of raw sugar left under the moonlight is a common character of children's folk songs. Many adults find them nostalgic, but say the older variants are better 😈

Tetsuya Chiba’s art! The flow of the action, the impacts, the sfx lettering, and the expressions have that kinetic oomph you need for selling meaningful fights indistinguishable from a modern boom. But it’s married to the more exaggerated body language + simpler character design ethos of the era.

I'd imagine there would be songs about the Underworld & the Subter underground too.

Also songs about 'Am-Ra of the Golden Blood' and her dances that bring fourth riches
