Had second iron infusion today. Been kind of up and down recently. We're still sorting out a few things & I have more tests but I promise I'm hanging in there and doing what I can. 🐛💖

This isn't so bad honestly. My hand pinches now and then from the IV but I'm otherwise just vibing.

Gonna go even further: don't refer to it as "consuming media" when doing this. You aren't a consumer - it's not a product. You read books. You look at art. You watch movies and/or videos. Be careful about word choice.

Reject "consume" and REJECT "CONTENT."

I'm being so real right now, learn how to engage in media as art and not a reflection of your own real life morals. consume things that make you uncomfortable and understand why it makes you uncomfortable. Don't just base yours and others morals standings on the media you consume.

It’s hard to know what to even do with everything going on but when stuff is shitty one of the things that keeps me going is looking forward to seeing the art other people make (comics, music, movies, books, whatever). So I’m trying to keep trucking, and sending love to those trying to do the same.

I've had a lot of really varied experiences where I'm at. Pretty sure my family doctor has no idea what's going on with me and stays out of it, haha. Hopefully my next GYN is cool because that's... real tough otherwise. No one should have to worry they won't get proper care because of who they are.

I'm at a hospital for a GI test & this is the very first time I've had a wristband that says "Moth" and had my proper pronouns on it. The world is scary in many ways, but at the beginning of my identity journey imagining being addressed correctly in a general medical setting seemed impossible. Wow!

Mine's been low for a long time but my body finally hit a wall, it seems. Fortunately I didn't have to argue for infusions, the hematologist I saw was pretty surprised I made it this far without more help. Really hoping it'll be a big relief, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
