From what I remember the party that isn't in the executive office generally performs better than the sitting president's party. The main reason why they're doing it is to save money & make it easier to campaign
That was the first election in NYC with ranked choice, people didn't know any better and left most of their ballot blank
Welp, I'm relatively safe
Main issue is Biden's wins were for long term investments, a lot of the immediate policies that would have helped average workers & Dem success either expired &/or wasn't passed. Why he didn't blitz his platform in the first year knowing Dems historically underperform during the midterms IDK
