Over the past month, our coalition and our community came together to say, NO CUTS, NO COMPROMISES. Thank you for every email, phonecall, public comment, and PB&J assembly line for toddlers at evening meetings. Together, we won Preschool for All- AGAIN! The tax cuts are paused!

It's a progressive revenue mechanism that will guarantee all these payers free preschool once the program goes universal, an average saving of $16,000 per year.✨

Income: $150,000/year

Filing Status: Head of Household

Taxable Income After Deductions: $126,375

PFA Tax Owed: $20.63/year (1.5% of income over $125,000)

ELENA & STEVEN - MARRIED PEDIATRICIANS

Income: $300,000/year (one working part-time)

Filing Status: Married Filing Jointly

Taxable Income After Deductions: $268,500

PFA Tax Owed: $1,027.50/year (1.5% of income over $200,000)

JIM & SUSAN - MARRIED CEO & BANKER

Income: $750,000/year

Some ppl are shouting about how the preschool for all tax is driving ppl out of Multco. Here’s some information data about what ppl pay. The cost of moving would be more than this tax. If you + partner’s taxable income is 270k, you owe $1k. No one is moving for $1000.
