Apparently some find them less creamy but if you cook them long enough at a gentle simmer they get super soft but retain their shape so much that the beans dont really become slop

A pot of big white beans in a simple stock is a nice ritual if you WFH or have one in the household. Or any other type of bean. Also clementine oranges are perfectly portioned and packaged!

Getting a fun old bike is great until you need to find fenders that look nice without going down a tire size. This weird brake hardware is annoying me

Rear brake caliper on a Schwinn voyageur II. The hardware is offset to actually be closer to the tire, making a fender a tighter fit
