If anyone is wondering, and without getting into too much detail, I am a 60ish, curmudgeonly grandpa, IT guy, veteran, and part-time internet political junkie who was weaned on Bartcop's blog yonder a century ago, and if you know who Bartcop was and grokked his style, then we'll get along just fine.

The highest law enforcement agency in this country are now lawbreakers. Let that sink in. 🫤
NEW: The DOJ appears poised to miss a deadline to publicly release all of its files on convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, violating a new federal law explicitly requiring the documents to be turned over for the public.

Doesn't the word "memorial" in the existing name of this venue imply it was built in memory of JFK, who was slain while in office? Is the filthy old, orange narcissist equating his magically healed "half shot off" ear lobe with Kennedy's murder and trying to horn in on JFK's death glory? How sick. 🫤
One final update/correction, based on what I'm seeing in the most recent Getty pictures: The workers seem *not* to have removed the first "The" before JFK's name. So it now reads—very weirdly—"The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts."

Seriously, though, Elise Stefanik is an excellent example of how evil frequently promotes mediocrities to temporary prominence. She’s part of the Legion of Meh.

He/she who lie down with mangy dog, get up with fleas. Sayonara Elise. I sure hope you enjoy the denouement of your legacy, which will be nothing more than a desolate footnote in American political history. 🫤
I wonder how she's feeling about her political career. She sold out everything she once valued, debased herself, placed herself on the side of evil, all in a crude grasp at power, and in return, she got shunted to the side & forgotten. Pathetic, richly deserved, but also, wooooof.

I'm not sure why folks are shocked DOJ will not be fully complying with the Epstein Transparency Act today.

The thing was way too weak with respect to enforcement. It basically handed all discretion to DOJ with a "we expect you to be good boys and girls" line at the end.

It will make it all the more enjoyable seeing that execrable name ripped off the facades of those buildings once he and his criminal administration have been removed from power. 🫤

This country is controlled by a lawless regime. Once these bastards are out of power there needs to be a full, no holding back accounting of ALL their crimes and assaults on our democracy. 🫤
NEWS: Deputy AG Todd Blanche says the DOJ will only release a partial batch of the Epstein files today, rather than all of them. Blanche says DOJ needs more time to make redactions.

Just amazing how many lies were posted online over the past week by right-wing grifters about the Brown shooter, and it’s the same people every single time. Minutes and hours after the next one they will be right back at it with lots of theories & “sources” - but none of it true.

This is not how math works. And Lutnik knows it. Is it any wonder that Donald Trump bankrupted several casinos and had to steal, lie, and cheat to ever make money
FOX: If you cut something by 100%, the cost goes down to 0. If you cut it by 600%, the drug companies are actually paying you

LUTNICK: What he's saying is if a drug was $100 and you bring it down to $13, it's down 7 times

F: Not a 600% cut

L: But it's 700% higher price before. It's down 700% now
