It's not a cop out, it's very basic electoral strategy.

She needed to convince people to vote for her and she wasn't able to do it. Blame the people who thought it was a good idea for her to cozy up with Republicans and support the genocide.

I live in a dark blue state, so my vote didn't count.

I'm just mature enough to admit that Harris, despite having an uphill battle for sure, made quite a few terrible mistakes, and it cost her the election. Everyone who didn't push back on her is responsible for Trump winning.

Valid criticism isn't "Dem bashing"

Things would have been better had Harris won for sure, but it was her responsibility to win over the voters she needed, and she didn't do it.

You can say her going center right was a smart move if you want, but she did lose because of it.
