The M1.1 and M8.1 flares yesterday have launched a significant CME towards Earth, according to the NOAA ENLIL solar wind model.
The CME impact is forecast for 09 Dec in the morning, although there's usually several hours' uncertainty in the timings. A NOAA G3 storm watch is currently in effect for 09 Dec.

As expected, we are now in a fast solar wind stream from this highly irregularly shaped coronal hole. We are passing through the upper portion of the fast wind pocket, but active Region 4292, could cause highly variable wind. Aurora chasers watch for this bumpy wind. It could trigger substorms!
