Other provincial labour federations, including the Ontario Federation of Labour, will start collecting funds to build a war chest to help pay fines. Danielle Smith may have thought she could bully the teachers into submission.

This is the darkest day I’ve felt in Alberta since I moved here almost 19 yrs ago. Funny enough we came on a teacher’s contract b/c back then, Alberta’s education system was known to be one of advancement and opportunity. Oh how we have fallen. Darkest day in Alberta’s history.
