Although the more recognizable games in this compilation of Taito shooters are Operation Wolf, Operation Thunderbolt, and Night Striker, I keep playing Space Gun because it’s just more appealing to me for some reason.

Using an adapter from fareastpinball.booth.pm with my Switch 2, my Micomsoft XE-1AJ controller, and Operation Night Strikers from Taito/M2. After adjusting the settings, it really makes the games fun to play and easier to control. ✌🏼

Came home after a real busy day and saw that the new Egret II Mini Arcade Memories Vol. 1 came in, with Technos Japan and Data East titles. Will post more after taking a nap, but excited to play these new titles!

It was surprising to not see them resold, although there were times they posted that limited quantities were available at a manga museum in Kyoto a year or so ago.
I’m still hoping that in-consideration Hori controller with the trackball and twisty stick comes to fruition someday.

Namco's legendary Sugamo arcade (fka Namco PlayCity Carrot Sugamo) will be closing its doors on March 22 🇯🇵 this venue's been operating since '84 and is not only the mecca for pre-release Namco games & hot games in general but also built the communities that would underpin much of JP's games media
