How can you address men's emotional needs at a time when the "feminization of everything" has become the consensus source of all society's problems, and emotional needs are coded as feminine?
My sense is that the “male loneliness crisis” is not really about addressing men’s emotional needs but rather the relatively newfound absence of having someone to perform domestic labor for you quietly in the background now that there is a longer gap between your mother and your wife doing it

we decided against putting this directly in the game mostly because we'd rather focus on be the thing the game is rather than the thing it isn't (ie putting this up front focuses too much on the ways we didn't make the game, you know?)
