Been enjoying the new Who spin off (especially the superb Mr Tovey). Good script, direction, acting & visuals.
But last night’s 4th episode has put me off it a bit. Neither the undetected bomb the size of a football or the fishy romance were remotely credible.
Shame. I liked it up until all that 😕

Oh and finally - the headline states it is ‘made out of 2 Boeing 747s’, then in the article is says it ‘looks like two Boeing 747s fused together’
So what is it then? 🤔

‘Strato’ just means ‘layer’ in Italian; I can’t find any reference to a Middle Eastern folkloric bird, let alone why ‘snatching off elephants’ would have anything to do with a plane?
And how is 117m longer than 140m in anything other than Trump economics?

So this is what our renationalised railways will look like. Apart from the yellow nose cone (not required by Standards or necessary) it’s not too bad. Though all this red, white & blue is a bit tedious. Main thing is the BR double arrow has been left as the design classic it is. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I bought a delightful vintage LT railway sign this morning, & in the dealer’s showroom shelves I noticed 2 amazing original #drwho costume heads - a Sea Devil & a Sontaran.
I almost had to hide behind the nearest sofa! 🫣

Although I might have a Brazil nut & a fig at some point.
My mum used to buy dried figs this time of year.
Half a packet of them & you’re on the bog for the rest of the evening.
