The sad truth is that just about everything you can possibly do to reduce crime is seen by politicians (and journalists) as being 'soft' on crime. The thing that definitely doesn't reduce crime? Harsher prison sentences.

I don't think it's on him at all. He had a very big part in making it happen, sure. But he didn't implement it, he didn't make it opposition party policy and he isn't in charge of the mess the Tories left us with. Part of the reason Reform is so big rn is we ascribe him more power than he has.

Teesside’s freeport, initiated in 2021 under Rishi Sunak, has cost £560 million far exceeding the standard £25 million allocation (22 times the standard £25m).
90% profits go to the private sector.
This clearly shows the UK model of State aid post-Brexit is utterly corrupt.

If your view is Israel's actions of the past 2 years are entirely the responsibility of Hamas then presumably you also view the October 7 attacks as entirely the responsibility of Israel and nobody ever is held responsible for their own actions.

Reminder - Palantir has 24 contracts with key UK institutions, the NHS, the Ministry of Defence, the Cabinet Office, the police force, and the DLUHC.
23 of the contracts were given by the Tories.
The most recent contract given to Palantir was to Coventry City Council by Keir Starmer in April 2025.

This is horrifying. Now she'll be placed with men in prison where she is at extreme risk of being raped and sexually assaulted. And then she has to register as a sex offender.

This is all because a man was ashamed he was attracted to a trans woman.
