My son learned to read by playing Zork. It’s great to see Zork live on.

6 million patient interaction summaries were generated by AI by Epic medical software last year. In the demo simulation, a mobile device (phone?) recorded the patient conversation and transmitted it to the Epic app for summarization and suggested tasks.

I'm not sure my customers want to be "frontier firms", which have to "holistically reimagine their whole businesses". Even Copilot agrees!

Finally, with Visual Studio Insiders and SSMS 22 Preview 1 I was able to set up a complete development environment for my work on the Arm PC!
Best of all, both preview products include substantial improvements in usability and performance. You don't even need an Arm PC to enjoy the upgrades. 😉

Here's all the new APIs in the WindowsDesktop pack for .NET 10 compared to .NET 9. Lots of little Windows Forms things. The opposite can be said for WPF (with a disappointing total of 0 new APIs): omds.xaml.dev/desktop_net9...
