“The people outside looked from Tory to Labour, and from Labour to Tory, and from Tory to Labour again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.”

Thanks

Govts of Australia, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman, China, France, Germany Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Qatar, Singapore, Spain, UAE, US would like to thank UK for letting their entities own UK infrastructure.

Vast profits exported, Britons stare at sewage in rivers.
If the government wants economic growth it must bring essential industries into public ownership
Successive governments clobber households and small businesses by hiking interest rates to manage inflation, but don’t inconvenience corporations.

Over 40% of corn grown in Indiana is used to make ethanol that cars burn. One acre of corn yields about 16,500 vehicle-miles per year of ethanol, which sounds high until you realize that one acre of solar yields about 2,700,000 vehicle-miles per year: 16,000% more driving for a given plot of land.

I've never been more convinced that the Green Party are the vehicle for the long overdue change Britain needs.

It's time to wave goodbye to failed vulture capitalism and neoliberalism, and time to welcome Green Eco-Socialism.

Exciting times 💚

Absolutely disgracefully biassed intro of #bbcqt (Questiontime) by Fiona Bruce: alone of all the panellists, she singled out a controversial policy of Zack Polanski / the Green Party for comment in her intro remarks. #BbcQT is systematically biassed in favour of the Right, and against the Greens.

Lot of people confidently missing the point in the replies to this: if every cent of Elon musks net wealth was liquid, which it isn’t, that’s not even enough money to run the govt for two weeks. The problem less that they have money, and more how they use that money in destabilizing ways.

“The problem with billionaires isn’t that they’re hoarding money that would otherwise pay for a Scandinavian social utopia. It’s that their money has become a source of wildly distorted political power that allows a few men with extremist views to wreak havoc on the rest of us.”

Kemi Badenoch blames those crossing borders for our problems. It’s a lie aimed to distract.

The real issue is a system protecting the super-rich while nurses & carers can’t make ends meet. Tax wealth fairly, fund public services properly. This is how we give Britain hope again.

This 1000 times over. My father fought in Europe. My uncle died there. These 21st century NAZIs are just as despicable as their predecessors and deserve the same fate.

They really should.

If they had to wear them people would be more informed about what they were voting for.

And they might be more careful about who they take money from.

Someone should ask what Miller was doing between 2021 and 2025, why David Horowitz recruited him to the foreign policy team of the Trump campaign, why the Democrats never followed through on their 2017 investigation of alleged lies on Miller's SF-86 clearance forms, but no one asks real questions

It seems pretty clear to me now: Keir Starmer would rather lose to Reform than to the Labour left, which is his real enemy. Any policy that might recover lost ground with voters has to be struck down, as it looks like a concession to the Labour left. And he and his team cannot contemplate that.

I’m a career prosecutor who took a $25,000 check from an affiliated entity of Donald Trump’s while investigating Trump University and later left my lobbying firm to become Donald Trump’s personal impeachment lawyer, White House aide, and Attorney General. So don’t you DARE question my integrity.

I thought "cumulative impact" was the whole point of demonstrations. This way the only demonstrations to be permitted will be those which fail to make any impact. Alice in Wonderland logic.
