the other day i saw a japanese cosplayer's WIP post showing their shiny brocade fabric choice with the (approximate) caption "yessss... my fetish...", which i find so delightful. truly one of the best parts of cosplay is making decisions about the design that suit your personal preferences

I have many thoughts about this, one is I can't help but think this is all just shining a light on how games are still being held to wildly different standards than other media like film. I've played very few games like HORSES but watched so many films like it (as a connoisseur of arthouse horror).

I have many thoughts about this, one is I can't help but think this is all just shining a light on how games are still being held to wildly different standards than other media like film. I've played very few games like HORSES but watched so many films like it (as a connoisseur of arthouse horror).

fyi cosplayers-- if you're in need of any basic underlayers for cosplay (modesty garments, tights, colored leggings, sports bras of varying silhouettes, etc) or dance shoes, discount dance is going out of business (😭) and most of the store is $5. stock up.
