When you forgot to charge your tech but remembered to charge your portable batteries.
The image shows the back pocket of a car seat containing several pieces of audio and camera equipment neatly stored together.

From left to right:

A RØDE MicroLED light (black, compact square device) used for on-camera lighting, attached to a small mounting bracket.

Two hexagonal adapters or cold shoe mounts, each with a brass threaded insert on top—likely used for attaching lights, microphones, or other gear.

A gray handheld gimbal or stabilizer (possibly for a smartphone or small camera) on the far right.

Multiple charging and connection cables running through the setup, indicating these devices are ready for charging or in use.

The @mongabay.com team published a cool companion video report you can watch here, www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqpD...

Great to get solutions like this out to a wide audience:
Women in Mexico step up to protect ancient Aztec farms and save a vanishing ecosystem
In Mexico, traditionally women did not inherit chinampas, island farms first built by the Aztecs thousands of years ago.

View through a window of the new Cooper Union building. Modern shiny structure with rectangles of different reflectivity.

Got to record this silo at Art OMI in upstate New York for my AI powered acoustics startup, Lyrai. The night before sampling had the amazing experience of improvising in the space with the resident musicians.
nside, the view looks up toward the domed roof, where steel beams radiate to a small circular opening that lets in natural light. The tall concrete walls are stained with darker patches, and a rectangular hatch punctuates the otherwise vast, resonant interior. A tall cylindrical silo stands in an open grassy field surrounded by trees. Its vertical concrete panels are weathered with black streaks running down from the domed metal roof, giving the structure an aged but enduring presence.

The term "dumbbell" originates from a device used in the 18th century for exercising silently, often by removing the clapper (the noisy part) from a church bell-like object.
