Sometimes impact in universities is measured with "big things": contributions to policy docs, meetings with important people. when this happens, how important really is the impact on people, especially in small projects? Isn't that the most important aspect of impact? Maybe, i've an idealised view.

Super happy to have our abstract accepted for #CADS2026 in my beloved Lancaster! @seleniaanastasi.bsky.social and myself are going to present “The Southern Question” and gender in Il Forum dei Brutti: Analysing constructions of geopolitical boundaries through a CADS-DHA triangulation".
I hope some voters remember this when she claims to protect women and children.

I adore my time in Italy. While I work, my mum calls me and asks for the weirdest house chores. This morning, when i was writing something on fascism, far-right and anti-gender, she said "come here and do something useful, put some tape on this!" - That's why I am not scared of Reviewer 2, folks!

I am rushing to finish a paper on Giorgia Meloni stemming from my keynote in August and I did not foresee the effects!!! I dreamt of Meloni last night!
Interestingly, she was finding ways to give up to her anti-gender rhetoric. R.E.M. would say "but that was just a dream, that was just a dream".

The return of the Erasmus for UK students is amazing news but also shows how cruel and stupid it was to stop it. Universities have tried for years to re-establish connections, having to do an insane amount of paperwork. And now, they'll have to deal with more bureaucracy.

I am excited for a new adventure in the community that I now call home. I have joined a bilingual school as a School Governor! This voluntary role will give me a chance to get to know more about the education system in the UK but also practice Spanish a bit more!
