I mean tbh the Kop should have narrow seats, it should be packed in and loud. The spacious seats should be in the luxurious areas on the main stands (of an old style stadium like Anfield)

My understanding is that the council was the problem when we built the stadium. We wanted to have more seats but were stymied because the council was concerned about the capacity of the tube stations; that’s why the seats at the Emirates are so wide

I think the question is more about Islington Council, and the related question of tube/general infrastructure capacity. Cause I agree with you that the incentive for the club is to make it happen in a PSR world
