Our little town 10 minutes south of Portland, Oregon — Milwaukie — is having a 5:30 PM protest and vigil for the missing, and I’m ready with my sign. Now I just have to finish my husband’s ☺️✊🏻

They’ve trained there for years. I’m from San Diego and have been on that base many times, and I’ve driven past it even more. They do drills frequently, but I’ve never heard of them firing anything from the east side of the 5.

Just a reminder: San Onofre, the “shut down” nuclear plant that still stores radioactive waste, is basically on Camp Pendleton’s property—just a few miles away. But sure, fire missiles around there. What could go wrong.

My husband, a retired Navy Chief, said this admiral didn’t “step down for family time.” He knows what Trump is doing with those boat attacks is illegal, and he refused to be part of it. That’s not weakness—that’s honor.
