I attended Julefest at First Covenant Church tonight. It was a beautiful service, and I loved getting to hear @annsy.bsky.social sing in the choir! The St Lucia presentation was definitely a highlight

My mother had an old story about how a friend of hers never returned a library book, and one day when paying a traffic ticket, there was a warrant for his arrest on his record. He ended up spending a night in jail. Apparantly SPL used to be pretty hard on people 😄

I know the King5 tower couldn't do lights last year, due to repairs, but after the Trump election, it just felt like the biggest bummer. Tonight they lit the tower, and I could see them from my apartment. It brought me so much joy.
