Sometimes you can do everything right and still fail. That's what has happened to my current kidney transplant. After nearly 17 years, it's done. My wait on the transplant list for a new one will be about 5 to 8 years. A living donor would give me the best chance at a longer, healthier life.

I'm sad to hear that Catherine O'Hara has passed away. I loved her in Best in Show and Beetlejuice, of course. But she was also in an excellent episode of The Outer Limits revival in 1997, called The Revelations of Becka Paulson. (Which is a Stephen King story.) She will be missed.
