Finally been the GP for a foot problem I’d long ago self-diagnosed as gout. It is gout. Dr has prescribed medication and issued advice on reduced alcohol and eating less meat. To which I was thinking ‘shut your dirty mouth and give me the tablets’. I absolutely am going to die early

Spent the day doing a murder mystery puzzle thing round the landmarks of Edinburgh. Solving clues as we went with ‘pitstops’ between. The ratio tipped more towards ’pitstops’ than solving clues as the day progressed and we’re now fucking hammered. Huzzah!!!
