There is also a round bipedal alien that's bright blue and wrapped in bombs as well as a goblin holding a grappling hook. This morning I was surprised by an unexpected package.
An old friend out housemate had discovered a smattering of my ancient mid 90s minis in their storage and sent them to me!
I had forgotten these orks till I saw them again, and the nostalgia is hitting me like hammer blows.

Concrete looks grimy and interesting. I achieved this just by stippling on various colors. I'll black line the cracks I carved into the plastic and the edge where the concrete meets the bricks next.

Sanctum Sanctorum with concrete mostly done. Visible paints: Morghast Bone, Wraith Bone, Celestra Grey and Dawnstone, which I used as the base. Also a matte black from Army Painter.

Close up of the front door frame and concrete panels on the walls. Rough OSL used, making the concrete appear brighter around the lanterns.

I finished a unit of armoured Mercenaries for By Fire and Sword. These models also suit well for 30YW with the typical wear of Bandolier Reiters.

Back out of the house, might be the last week I subject people to very poor lighting. More wood elves, and some Nightstalkers too, trying to just work to get base coats and shading done. I forgot some paints this time, but there's plenty to do regardless.
