I honestly don’t get the value of this company. They hoover up energy and water. Their product constantly gets things wrong and, in extreme cases, coaches people into suicide.

And it’s all built on what seems to be malicious and vast intellectual property theft.

Finally I'll just say that most of the "solutions" to online harm to kids are offline. If all queer kids were accepted and loved, less of them would get groomed, exploited, and hurt online. If all kids had access to a safe place to sleep at night and a mental health councilor in their school...

In addition to BCgov's initial (inadequate) salary offer, the other thing to watch is whether employers are willing to meaningfully:
- address staffing shortages, recruitment, retention & workplace safety
- improve working conditions & staffing levels, rather than eroding.
