I recall the frustration of finding _a_ satellite trail in long exposure (30min) images I took during my PhD studies. I cannot imagine what it’s like working with noise like this today.
With a translation:
This image shows the same star field as Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) without cleaning.
In just 15 minutes of acquisition, we counted 1,659 satellite trails (about 400 individual ones).
Words cannot describe the pollution of near space.

The peace plan outlines that the European countries are proposing looks more reasonable than the US version, which basically looks like they stole the Russian’s homework.

Some odd things in the IT article about the budget for the President’s office running to €6.2m pa. Why do we need a newly designed centenarian coin each year? (and why are foreign residents eligible?) €300k IT budget also seems rather high?

Still of the opinion that neither candidate is suitable. HH simply awful. CC compentent, but some desperately poor judgement in the past, which she won’t acknowledge.

At a local No Kings rally near Innsmouth, Massachusetts, *every* protester showed up in an inflatable frog costume.
They must be from a different supplier than the Portland frog's costume, though. Bystanders describe the costumes as more like fish-frogs, "batrachian," with an odd, loping gait.
