i listened to and followed my instincts. as in, i decided against becoming a man united fan despite my country's national hero captain playing for them at the time when i was getting into pl and looking for a team to support

“When you warm up, you have your half, the other team have their half... In that moment, I didn’t think it was right where they were operating... It’s just what I think is right and respectful... I didn’t think that respect was shown to my team..."

joining in whenever you hear a rousing rendition of "tottenham get battered"
Can someone tell me - aside from tea, dogs and queueing - what "core British values" are?
Keir Starmer attacks the racism of Reform and Matt Goodwin but then adds that "Britain has also been let down by a mindset on the left of politics that is too slow to defend core British values"

reasons why i started supporting arsenal, in order of good to silly

1. i enjoyed watching wengerball
2. i wanted a team based in london
3. manager seemed smart & eloquent
4. my favorite color is red
5. i wanted team name to be one (1) word only
6. manager was tall & lanky like me, very relatable

The fact that the media narrative is all about how boring we are or how anti-football we are or some other shit, instead of this, is telling. Any other club, the story would be this, it’s the kind of shit books will be written about because it’s a goddamn fairytale story.
“That a former club captain with no managerial experience has led the club from the (relative) doldrums and looks on course to deliver a first league title in 22 years.”

There’s a really great story happening here if we can just slow down and appreciate it (obviously easier said than done)
This week's column is about learning to enjoy and relish the anxiety of the title race 👇🔴⚪️

reasonable solutions to man city's silly request

- guehi plays, but they have to play with 10 players from kickoff
- guehi plays, but arsenal gets to pick a player man city have to drop (erling)
- guehi plays, but all of man city wears clown makeup & costume & shoes while wearing number "115"

weird dream. i was applying for some kind of engineering / rescue (?) job. so i go to a building and the person tasked with my interview is... benzema. he asked me to explain to him how i would handle a landslide on venus. i don't think i'm getting this job, guys 🤪

at tonight's pickup vb, a high school kid asked me how long i've been playing. i did the math and told him 35 years. so... about twice as long as he's been alive 😅👶🏻👴🏼

After seeing Arsenal players leave and score against us/play well in game after game that we lost, seeing Havertz score last night against them and beat them to get to a final felt more like therapy than football. Seriously, look at this photo.

BREAKING: PGMOL has determined that Riccardo Calafiori entered the pitch to celebrate two seconds before Kai Havertz's shot was officially a goal, a serious infraction. As a result, a replay with Chelsea will be scheduled as soon as possible. 😢

LOL, how did I missed this clip.
This is just brilliant, can't remember the squad and staff enjoying a goal more than this one in the past 2 seasons.
They enjoyed it even more than fans 😂
And Calafiori 🤣🤣🤣

the video of Calafiori celebrating is amazing. he started after Kai's first touch and was on the pitch before the ball hit the back of the net
