The nutty thing is they had an easy path to take: continue the story from Legacy. Heck, loop in elements of AI trying to take over. Bring back leads. Hint at Flynn having ascended to some sort of human-computer contruct singularity. Done.
Dunk & Egg give you the opportunity to introduce all sorts of characters from every strata of Westerosi society and have them interact. From noble ladies to cutthroats and pirates. We can see whole different sides to some of the main houses we've met.
They should eventually get to the novellas -- I'd love to finally get an in-his-prime Bloodraven. But the stories can be expanded/expounded without leaning into the future.
My worry is that they use this show to try and justify decisions already made by GOT characters.
I'm probably too invested in this being good, because the Dunk & Egg stories are probably my favorite thing George R.R. Martin has ever written and it's a perfect conceit for a monster/adventure of the week tv show if done well. We'll see.
I hate to ask but things are dire here for our Queen Bean. She can’t breathe and we need to get her to a vet, we’re losing her and it’s hard to watch her like this. If she’s going, she shouldn’t have to suffer like this. Please, please share, donate only if able! #MutualAid#HelpSky#DogsofBluesky
Hey y'all. My friend and former coworker could use your help. He's a single Dad and this slow summer has them close to homeless. Please donate and/or RT. Thanks!
Just announced: Turning Point USA will present an alternative “All-American” halftime show (performers TBA) for those who don’t want to watch that Puerto Rican.
