This makes no sense and I can’t really explain it as he cost £100m and is generally regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world but somehow feels like Declan Rice is a little underrated. “Underrated” is such a nonsense term anyway but feels like he should get even more love.

I love Mikel Arteta’s big strong lads who aren’t even intimidated by the big Frankenstein monster wearing 25.

The Crystal Palace league cup game is probably just the first of many situations like this. If you just keep increasing the number of games you are going to get these situations more frequently. All that will happen is the number and severity of injuries will increase.

Some people say we live in the dumbest timeline but to those people I say this opens up the possibility of Buzz Aldrin decking Kim Kardashian so perhaps it’s not all bad.

Cinema behaviour has definitely got worse since Covid. Behaviour in public generally has, when did video calls in public or playing music over your phone speaker become ok? As for cinemas, once the trailers come on, it’s quiet time.

Some might argue that streaming movies at home has given us all etiquette amnesia. But when it comes to disrupting a screening, I think the rules have some nuance, writes Polly Hudson

Main positive from tonight is Arsenal keep the momentum going. Don’t think a result either way really has too much of an impact on Saturday’s league game but winning is a habit. Good to keep it going.

Hahaha every “self driving car” has a steering wheel and his “autonomous” robots last year had someone out of shot controlling them. Still hugely impressive to have got this close but his over promise and under deliver thing is endless.

The fact there are still official UK government accounts using that platform is unbelievable. They wouldn’t even need to make a big song and dance about it. Just say we are crossposting to Threads and Bluesky as people are also using those. Incredibly grim.
