Saw a good short concert by the 이삼수 브라스밴드 ("Lee Sam-soo Brass Band") at a local park today. They played a handful of familiar jazz songs, but the real standout (and our son's favourite) was Maceo Parker's "Shake Everything You Got." We almost skipped it but ended up glad that I insisted on going!

My poor phone is set to English, so when it tries to transcribe typical Korean-language robocaller voice messages, the texts it comes up with are bananas.

I'm vaguely curious whether it's a totally made up number or they offered 350 billion KRW (which is like $245m USD). It's probably just a completely made up number, though, I suspect.
Cool we can fund SNAP, pay air traffic controllers, ACA subsidies, all kinds of stuff. Right when we really need it. When do we get the cash?

Finally I feel comfortable saying I've recovered from the reading block that I seemed to develop back at the start of the pandemic. Took me a while to really get into full swing, but I think I'm back.
