I found the ep in PLURIBUS where Carol--white, American--meets 5 non-white, non-American survivors of the hivemind off-putting, but in a way that made me curious to see where Gilligan was going. The thing that kills me is how so many "experts" are so quick to blame Zoom for the learning deficits and not, you know, *the trauma of living through a badly mishandled pandemic.* Like, maybe with all that death and fear people were emotionally affected in ways that impact learning, guys?

Oh yeah, this post reminds me I haven't mentioned that I've just started learning clarinet. Total beginner. I find that I keep trying to default to sax fingerings, so I'm training myself not to. Fun challenge... well, fun for me. Maybe not for those within earshot of my practice room!
