Epstein problem: Trump demanded Bondi open investigations into Clinton, etc, & she did. Real reason was so Trump/DOJ could refuse to release the files during an investigation. If the bill to release passes both Houses that could override DOJ’s need to withhold. But the decision could go to SCOTUS
Biden could not have released the files while Ghislaine Maxwell was charged, prosecuted then appealed, all of which lasted to the end of Biden’s term. Once the files are released we’ll see if Garland was investigating any of the rich men who abused the victims.
