I know that Taash's transness in VG is very fresh and they still have much to explore. But they make it VERY clear in that first convo with Neve that they do not enjoy being coded as feminine and that being coded with "maleness" feels, and I quote "right".

as a non-binary character, they've said they're not comfortable with being seen as "feminine" anything
