These rule. I got Realm of the River Dragon for my kids and it’s remained a favorite for years.
What playmaps? Oh, friends, I am so excited about my playmaps! I am so proud of them, they are printed indelibly on soft, sturdy, machine-washable blankets, and I package them up with all the info you need to feel great about gifting them to kids. Learn more here: www.portablecity.net/playmaps/

The end! The Thieves traded roguish adventure for the stability of ruling the city, becoming like the stodgy merchants they once robbed.

Drew up a little river city with the 5-yr-old to play @possibleworlds.bsky.social’s “Beak Feather and Bone” together. Will report back tomorrow after we play (it’s bedtime now, so we paused after setup).

Did you attend the Indie Night Market and want to talk to us about how it went (and report on PAXU more broadly)? HMU
We've been chatting about Indie Markets regularly lately and sad to be missing the one at this year's PAXU. We'd love to hear a report from the floor if anyone attending would like to join us.
Threw together a quick poster / flyer for the event this Saturday. Come check out some cool indie games!

A faith of holy stoners grapples with its commitment to altered states as the world modernizes around them. Will they withdraw to the wilderness or take political power to shape society in their image? (Demoing Keep the Faith this morning before the expo hall opened).

Great postmortem thread! I had to bounce before the team pic but I’m so honored to have been selected and I had a great time talked disaster preparedness and radical politics with folks
Indie Games Market last night was a rousing success!!!!

WOW. I’m so impressed by all of the vendors organization and skill.

I’m sure we’ll be able together get stats from the PAX team, but this year definitely felt way bigger 🧵 🎲✂️

Good morning PAXU! I’ll return to repping my students’ games shortly, but I wanted to show a little beer-and-pretzels negotiation & area control game I’ve got with me.

Shared incentivizes, simple rules, and a map that uses the negative space on the table.

Find me today to try it!

Spent two hours strolling the streets of Philadelphia last night with the students. Korean-style corndogs for dinner 1, tacos for dinner 2, and a visit to both entrances of PAXU (I took us to the wrong door for will-call).

Look for us in the unpub room at the opening bell (10AM)...
