Just finished watching one of the Johan and Peewit episodes of The Smurfs a few minutes ago.

Always enjoyed those tales. Great sword-and-sorcery fantasy from Peyo. Those stories are where the Smurfs came from.

Always felt they deserved a show of their own. They're getting one in 2027, and... eh.

Character model sheet for the Pac-Man cartoon TV series produced by Hanna-Barbera. Pac-Man’s character design seems to take influence from Tadashi Yamashita’s Pac-Man, but tweaked to fit Hanna-Barbera’s in-house cartoon style.

Fun fact: Several of the first season episodes of Smurfs (1981), like many Hanna-Barbera productions at the time, were animated and shot entirely in-house in Los Angeles. The idea of experimenting with outsourced work (such as Wang/Cuckoo's Nest in Taiwan) didn't come until Season 2.
