Lovely.
Alexander Isak is the first player to lose each of his first 4 top-flight league starts for Liverpool since Percy Saul in October 1906. #LFC

Went out for the Ashes today. Got in in plenty of time, and then passed out. Wife woke me up just now whilst informing me we were 3 down and now it's her fault entirely.

I'd far rather have Szoboszlai in the middle and Gomez at right back. Keep the seasons best performer at the heart of the team, and bring in height and physicality to the backline. That said, on this, the below is absolutely what I'm expecting. Less convinced on Isak being thrown in. #LFC
Rumoured team for tomorrow doing the rounds

Alisson
Szoboszlai
Konate
VVD
Kerkez
Gravenberch
Mac Allister
Jones
Salah
Isak

Really good, this.
I had a great conversation with the wonderful @zackpolanski.bsky.social on his podcast. Do please listen in. I don't think you'll have heard anything quite like it. And there's a LOT more here than the title suggests. podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/h...

Actually think Australia banning social media for U16's is a good move. I'm from one of the last generation that traversed school without smartphones, and honestly, I shudder to imagine social media existing during that period. That said, how they go about it in practical terms will be interesting.

Just watching a bit of Question Time and it continues to stagger me to see seemingly ordinary people pleading the case for the wealthiest 1% to not pay their fair share of tax on the grounds that 'they'll leave'. Firstly, many will/can not. Second, if some do, fine. Let them. Genuinely crackers.

The last decade or so has really eroded standards to a point where what was once shocking has become run of the mill. But that comment? That had my chin on my knee. Disgusting, outrageous and genuinely shameful, even for him.
I think the President of the US responding to a question about the murder of a journalist with "A lot of people didn't like that gentleman" is probably pretty bad.

I don't have many regrets in life, but I got the original Gameboy for a birthday when I was a kid. Had a heap of games and accessories. All in mint condition. When I was 18, I gave it all to a lad who I knew at the time. I didn't even like him. I'd kill for it all back now.

Any analysis of #LFC this season that doesn’t talk about the impact of losing Jota on the team shouldn’t be taken seriously. We can all be frustrated with them for losing matches, but the death of one of their mates in such utterly horrific circumstances looms large over every single performance.
New on Always Liverpool | Andy Robertson's moment, both beautiful and devastating, told us everything about how Liverpool's players are still coping with the loss of their dear Diogo. We haven't afforded them enough grace.

That second part there is the thing that gives me some hope that there will be transparency; Those survivors know the names. If they've been removed (which was my instinctive and cynical position), they can and surely will be shouting from the rooftops.
Epstein's survivors today spoke out again. They have stated that they are working with lawmakers to change the system that protects Pedophiles. Also they stated that if names don't show up they will let it be known. They are tired of how society views teens and rape. They are tired of threats.

Good, concise summary.
I’m not a great political analyst, but I do feel Labour have made a tactical error by opting to be cunts.

Key line on what Robertson has just said there about Jota is about him being "in a bad way" earlier today in his hotel room.

How often have they been in a bad way and just tried to crack on? We don't know and never will.

They've been poor at football at times but don't criticise their character.

Andy Robertson (BBC): "I've been in bits. I couldn't get my mate Diogo Jota out of my head today. We spoke so much together about the World Cup. We always discussed what it would be like going to this World Cup. I know he'll be somewhere smiling over me tonight." 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I don't know why immigrants don't just go on strike. See how long the racists can cope without GP surgeries, nursing, deliveries, food being picked, clothes being made, warehouses being staffed, software being maintained, houses being built...

Cruel. Callous. Cowardly.

The public are seeing this Labour government for exactly who they are.

We all have a responsibility to make them pay at the ballot box.

Reject the hate. Reject them.

This is not who we are. Let's make hope normal again.

Fuck. Me.

And more to the point; Fuck this Labour government.

This is a Labour MP.

His timeline is *full* of Reform-esque, anti-immigrant rhetoric.

And he clearly has no idea what 'communism' actually is.

Tell me again why anbody with a modicum of compassion, empathy and moral fortitude should consider voting for these people.

Just noticed a lad called Parrott scored two goals for Ireland over the weekend. No way he exists. Footy Manager regen, if ever I've seen one. Someone really needs to have a good look at what Spurs are up to, because if I didn't know better I'd assume they'd brought the old editor back.

Same principal as the Taylor-Green 180; Self-interests come above everything, including morals. We're seeing the same across the global political spectrum. They don't care what impact they have, and whether that impact is disastrous for your or I, provided they're benefiting.
