One way that the reaction to Rob Reiner's murder mirrors Charlie Kirk's is that the best way to eulogize each of them is to quote their words, and in both cases, doing so pisses off conservatives.
Rob Reiner: “Silence in the face of authoritarianism is complicity. Speaking out is a patriotic act. Democracy doesn’t defend itself. It requires participation, vigilance, and courage from ordinary people."

Of course, once they don't let anyone in anymore, the next step will be to stop those there from leaving

Mark my words
In addition to 5 years of social media history, CBP would also require tourists to provide all phone numbers used over that period, any email addresses used in the past decade, DNA and iris scans, and the names, addresses, birthdates and birthplaces of family members
Including children

Here we are. Even our critics affirm every argument we ever made about Christian nationalism. We said it was powerfully linked with racist, sexist, & anti-democratic views. Evangelicals can't deny that anymore. They just disagree on whether that's good or not.

The rise and fall of Christian nationalism
How did Christian nationalism go from an ambiguous pejorative invoked primarily by progressives, to a small but growing movement among Reformed Evangelicals

This is far beyond 'NATO as we've known it is done.'

"The Trump administration had “a clear and consistent vision for Europe: one that prioritises US-Russia ties and seeks to divide and conquer the continent, with much of the dirty work carried out by nationalist, far-right European forces.”

Will Arnett was on Conan and told a story about how Conan dealt with the death of his parents by accusing Jason Bateman of killing them. It’s so funny.

I suspect when the results are tabulated, this one year of ineptitude will put America 20 years behind the pace—and there's still 3 more to go

Yay

Biden was the last American "leader of the free world" for the foreseeable future

Well done, boys

Quite breathtaking story - military grade drones at Dublin airport which flew on the path Zelensky's plane took. The drones reached the flight path of his plane exactly the time it should have been there, but just missed it because Zelensky arrived ahead of schedule:
Four unidentified military-style drones breached no-fly zone to target Zelenskyy's arrival in Dublin
Gardaí are investigating whether the drones took off from land in Dublin or from an undetected ship.

Every one of the people in this room has enough money to stand up for themselves. But they won't; they've given their soul to Mammon, who is a jealous god, demanding sacrifice—because they want more

And each one of them is willing for that sacrifice to be someone poorer than them
Trump, continued: "What the Somalian people have done to Minnesota is not even believable. It’s not even believable. And a lot of it starts with the governor. A lot of it starts with Barack HUSSEIN Obama, because that’s when people started coming in... They want to kiss our country good night."

To keep the president in this position despite his many documented deficiencies is a form of elder abuse

Stephen Miller may be the abuser, but the cabinet is complicit
Trump dozes while Marco Rubio speaks to him directly next to him. Just insane optics.
